Mission Statement:
We, the youth of Saint Vincent Ferrer Parish, renewed by Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit, are called to evangelize, proclaim His love, and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:16-20). Our goal is to build a foundation of strong, young Catholics who will care for the future of the Church. Through formation and sacramental preparation for Reconciliation, First Communion, and Confirmation, we guide high school youth on their journey of faith.
About our Ministry:
Our ministry is a vibrant community of young believers inspired by Christ's love and committed to sharing it with the world. Guided by the mission to be witnesses wherever we go, we nurture faith, build friendships, and foster a deeper understanding of our Catholic calling. Rooted in prayer, formation, and service, we accompany high school youth on their path to becoming compassionate, resilient disciples ready to serve both the Church and the world.
Goals:
Our goals reflect the vision set forth by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops in Renewing the Vision: A Framework for Catholic Youth Ministry, inspired by the call of St. John Paul II to form active and intentional disciples.
- To empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today, encouraging them to be active in their faith and bold in sharing His message of love.
- To draw young people into full participation in the life, mission, and work of the Catholic faith community, connecting them to the rich life of the Church and inspiring a lifelong commitment to service and faith.
- To foster total personal and spiritual growth for each young person, nurturing their relationship with God, cultivating their talents, and guiding their development into compassionate, faithful leaders.
